Night Guards
These removable dental appliances (also known as occlusal splints) are carefully molded to fit the upper or lower arches of teeth. They are used to protect tooth and restoration surfaces, to manage tempo mandibular joint dysfunction (TMJ), to stabilize jaw joints during occlusion, or to create space prior to certain restoration procedures. People prone to nocturnal bruxism (i.e., grinding) or nighttime clenching, may routinely wear night guards as a treatment.
Full Upper and Lower Dentures
These prosthetic devices are constructed to replace missing teeth; and are supported by the surrounding soft tissues of the mouth’s interior. While the more conventional dentures of this category are removable, there are many designs to choose from, some of which rely on implants. However, soft relines can be added to make them feel more comfortable as they provide a softer, more cushioned feel.
